The abbreviation, ABLE, represents the first initials of the surnames of my 3 known Grandparents.
Trying to name a company is a time-consuming process. Many desirable names are either already taken or too similar to others being used. So, I started considering doing something based on family initials.
Anderson – Boothby – Ellis – Ancestral Books & Education. A good start but it left out one branch. So, I added in the ‘L’ for Legacy, and voila! – the initials spell ABLE – which I consider a nice little ‘nickname’ for my company and a great website name – Seema-ABLE. Who knows, maybe it’s a precursor to finding that missing grandfather and a surname that starts with ‘L’. (well, okay – not a precursor, the new surname starts with a ‘B’.)
(I used the Seema because most people remember my first name after hearing me speak and I want to make it easier for them to find my website.)
