My father-in-law saved many things and kept his papers very well-organized. Before turning over two boxes of his papers to his eldest son, I compiled this work on his family as well as his wife’s. Details of the couple’s life come from many sources not typically available to a researcher, including automotive invoices, income tax preparation notes, and business expense reports. While slimmer in details, the Slovak side of the family also contains interesting stories and highlights sources such as high school newspapers and dance programs.
